Universal Service Obligation

If you don’t have access to commercial broadband that is able to deliver a ‘decent broadband service’ (10Mbps download or 1Mbps upload), you may be eligible to request a connection under the Broadband Universal Service Obligation from a provider designated by Ofcom.

Superfast Broadband

The government has ensured superfast broadband (speeds of 24Mbps or more) is now available for over 96% of UK premises.
